The Italian American Club (IA) will be hosting a benefit for Freddie Jones on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Freddie, son of City Councilman Fred Jones, was in a motorcycle accident on US 1 in Grant on July 31, 2024.
Freddie was seriously injured in the accident and has and still is facing significant medical expenses. Unfortunately, he has no health insurance, and the bills are stacking up after spending 3 weeks at Homes Reginal in Melbourne while undergoing six surgeries.
Freddie is currently at a rehabilitation facility and has a long road to recovery, which could take up to 2 years.
